It’s hard to think of a worse time to pop a boner than while standing on a street corner in the middle of New York City. While wearing a speedo. Varsity team initiations are usually meant to be embarrassing, but this guy went far beyond the call of duty.

Thanks to Tiffany for sharing this photo taken on a beach in Cadiz, Spain. Does it count as an awkward boner if the guy can’t even see it due to his enormous belly? It also looks like he’s staring at the woman in the picture, which makes this more of a creepy boner.

This gentleman is on the beach in a speedo and clearly has something other than tanning on the mind. Kudos to these girls for the photo. They used the classic move of pretending to take a picture of yourself or your friends but actually taking a picture of someone’s boner in the background.

Not only are boners natural and healthy, but they often have practical uses.  This photo was submitting by one of our readers, and clearly demonstrates that a boner can be used by champion swimmers as a keel/rudder (see diagram 2) to keep them steady as they swim through choppy waters.  Proof once again that boners are not to be feared, but embraced.

It looks like this guy just wants to jump in the swimming pool to hide his boner. Hopefully the water’s cold.
