When you’re rock climbing you need as much grip as possible. This man has figured out that popping a boner gives him an additional body part to grip rocks with, allowing him to scale walls 25% faster. Just one of many useful boner applications.

Beach parties are always a problem area for awkward boners, especially when bikini-clad girls dance with guys like this.  To this man’s credit, he is being inventive.  While the waist tuck is normally done in one’s own pants, he appears to be attempting to do a waist tuck into the girl’s bathing suit.

At least he gets points for trying…

This was sent in by a reader (pictured top left) whose friend was pretty jazzed about his new khaki pants from H&M. So excited, in fact, that he has a boner.

Note from photo 1 she’s chuckling a bit about the bulge in said khakis. Photo 2 shows her much more dissapointed reaction when she views the boner from a side angle.  I guess the khakis aren’t THAT nice.

They “took him off guard, he did see us but not the camera.” Just goes to show how risky it can be to pitch a tent. One moment you’re enjoying a nap and dreaming of hot Colombians, and before you know it on the front page of Awkward Boners.

Thanks to Spanky for sending us this photo of a man pitching a sideways tent in a park. Although getting a boner in public is awkward enough by itself, standing there with crossed arms adds that finishing touch that pushes it from regular awkward to incredibly awkward.

Let’s admit it, we’ve all gotten boners on the beach before. It can be hard to keep it under control when there are hot babes walking around in bikinis. But there are proven strategies for dealing with this kind of thing – for example, going for a swim, or rolling onto one’s stomach. This man clearly does not know of these strategies.

Also, why is this guy’s boner so pointy? Does he sharpen it?

Because it’s not a personal foul if only the boner makes contact. It’s in the rules.

Too bad the camouflage won’t hide his giant boner. At least the lady in the next subway car seems to like what she’s seeing.
